Participants
Singers of children’s, youth, student, adult amateur and professional choirs are invited to participate. The competition is based on choral parts.: soprano, alto, tenor and bass.
Category A: up to 8 years old — free program lasting no more than 5 minutes.
Category B: 9-10 years old — free program lasting no more than 8 minutes.
Category C: 11-13 years old — free program lasting no more than 10 minutes.
Category D: 14-16 years old — free program lasting no more than 10 minutes.
Category E: 17-19 years old — free program lasting no more than 12 minutes.
Category F: 20-27 years old — free program lasting no more than 12 minutes.
Category G: no age restrictions — free program lasting no more than 12 minutes.
The age of the participants is calculated on the first day of the competition.
Competitive audition
The competition program is free, according to the participant’s choice.
At the competitive audition, each participant individually performs their chosen choral part in accordance with the conditions set out below.:
– for two—voice and more polyphonic a cappella works – accompanied by the voices of the choir or accompanied by the concertmaster-pianist performing the choral score on the piano;
– for single-voice choral works with accompaniment, the participant performs the choral part independently to the accompaniment. Additional simultaneous performance of the same choral part in a phonogram or on a musical instrument is not allowed.;
– works written for a choir for two or more voices with instrumental accompaniment may be performed accompanied by an accompanist, with an instrumental accompaniment soundtrack, or with a soundtrack containing both choral parts and instrumental accompaniment.
If necessary, the participant can contact the Organizing Committee no later than 10 days before the deadline for accepting applications, which will try to help resolve this issue.
The execution of the competition program is allowed according to the notes.
Before the start of the competition performance, the participant of the First International VOX IN Choral Singers Competition must provide the jury with five copies of the sheet music of each performed work, printed on A4 paper.
The jury evaluates the purity of intonation, the accuracy of the performance of the choral part, rhythmic stability, the quality of the singing sound, diction and pronunciation culture, musicality and expressiveness of the performance, mastery of the style of the piece, the feeling of the ensemble.

The jury has the right to award not all prizes.
Participation fee
Additional information
The Organizing Committee may make changes and additions to the Competition Regulations.
Payment is made after submitting an application for participation and receiving confirmation of participation from the organizing committee of the contest. The terms of payment are in the competition regulations.
At the request of the contestant, an airport–hotel transfer is possible. The cost of the transfer depends on the number of passengers and transport.
Please contact the organizing committee of the events from 07.01.2027 to 15.01.2027 regarding the transfer.
All payments related to our events (payment for accommodation, payment of fees for participation in the competition and festival, and others) are made only through the organizing committee of the events. The payment details will be sent by the organizing committee with confirmation of the application for participation by mail.
