I International Vocal and Choral Congress DIALOGUE OF VOICES
ANTALYA / TURKEY

The voice is a unique musical instrument capable of conveying the subtlest nuances of feelings, revealing the performer’s individuality, and, when combined with other voices, becoming part of a single polyphonic whole.

The I International Vocal and Choral Congress DIALOGUE OF VOICES will bring together vocalists, members of vocal ensembles and choral groups, conductors, choirmasters, teachers, and figures in the field of musical art from different countries. The congress will serve as a platform for the exchange of professional experience, for getting acquainted with various performing traditions, for the development of creative cooperation, and for the emergence of new joint projects.

The congress program includes concerts, master classes, open rehearsals, lectures, creative meetings, and round tables. Solo, ensemble, and choral performances will engage in a lively creative dialogue here, demonstrating the richness and diversity of the art of the human voice.

We invite everyone for whom vocal and choral art is a profession, a calling, and a source of inspiration to become part of the international creative space DIALOGUE OF VOICES. We will be glad to welcome the congress participants and guests, to share the joy of creative communication, and together to discover new facets of the art of the human voice!

General provisions

1.1. The 1st International Vocal and Choral Congress DIALOGUE OF VOICES (hereinafter referred to as the Congress) will be held from January 28 to February 4, 2027, in Antalya, Republic of Turkey.

1.2. The Congress is an international creative platform that brings together choral groups, vocal ensembles, individual singers, conductors, choirmasters, teachers, accompanists, composers, arrangers, researchers of choral art, and leaders of educational and cultural organizations.

1.3. The goals of the Congress are:

– to develop and promote vocal and choral art;

– to strengthen international cultural and professional ties;

– to exchange performing, teaching, and organizational experience.

– creating conditions for creative communication among singers and group leaders from different countries;

– getting acquainted with national choral traditions and modern trends in vocal and choral culture;

– developing joint international projects.

1.4. The working languages of the Congress are Turkish, English, and Russian. If necessary, the order of language support for individual events is determined by the Organizing Committee.

Participants of the Congress

2.1. The following are invited to participate:

– children’s, youth, student, amateur, church, chamber, academic, folk, professional, and other choral groups;

– vocal ensembles;

– individual singers;

– conductors, choirmasters, teachers, and accompanists;

– composers, arrangers, and researchers of choral art;

– representatives of cultural and educational institutions, creative unions, and public organizations.

2.2. Each participant or group officially represents their choir, organization, educational institution, city, region, and country at the Congress.

Forms of participation

3.1. A choir may participate in the Congress either as a full or an incomplete (representative) group, including as a delegation consisting of only a few choir members. The participants of such a delegation are included in the International Combined Choir DIALOGUE OF VOICES, and the conductor of the arriving choir gets the opportunity to take part in working with this combined choir. The format and procedure for the conductors’ work are determined by the Organizing Committee.

3.2. Regardless of the size of the delegation, all its participants retain the status of official representatives of the choral group or organization that sent them.

3.3. Individual participants who are not part of an organized delegation may also take part in the Congress programme, including participation in the International Consort Choir, master classes, lectures, round tables and other events.

Congress Programme

4.1. The programme of the I International Vocal and Choral Congress DIALOGUE OF VOICES may include:

– concerts by choral groups and vocal ensembles;

– performances by soloists and small vocal ensembles;

– the work of the International Combined Choir of the Congress;

– open rehearsals;

– master classes by leading specialists;

– lectures, seminars, workshops and creative laboratories;

– round tables, discussions and professional meetings;

– presentations of choirs, institutions and creative projects;

– meetings with composers, conductors, educators and cultural figures;

– the final gala concert.

– other creative, educational and cultural events.
4.2. The central creative project of the Congress is the International Consolidated Choir DIALOGUE OF VOICES. Its performance is included in the program of the final gala concert of the Congress.
4.3. Consolidated choirs will be formed taking into account the age of the participants.
4.4. The repertoire of the consolidated choir, the list of performers, the distribution of parts, and the schedule of rehearsals and concert performances are approved by the Organizing Committee.

4.5. The musical materials and organizational recommendations for the members of the combined choir must be sent no later than 15 calendar days before the start of the Congress.
4.6. Participants undertake to prepare their parts independently and in advance using the provided musical materials.
4.7. The Congress programme will be published by 28 January 2027.

Concert programme

5.1. The concert program of the Congress is developed by the Organizing Committee.

Presentations and creative initiativesentations and creative initiatives

6.1. Within the framework of the Congress, groups, leaders, educational institutions, and creative organizations may present their activities.

6.2. The presentation may include:

– the history, mission, and creative direction of the group or organization;

– information about concerts, projects, and achievements;

– photo, video, and audio materials;

– sheet music publications, original arrangements, adaptations, and original compositions;

– original methods, educational programs, and research developments.

– information about international initiatives and proposals for cooperation.

6.3. Presentation materials may be demonstrated in person, in multimedia, at an exhibition, or in any other format agreed upon with the Organizing Committee.

6.4. Proposals regarding the content, duration, technical equipment, and format of the presentation are discussed with the Organizing Committee simultaneously with the submission of an application to participate in the Congress.

6.5. The possibility of holding a presentation, its duration, location, and the procedure for inclusion in the program are approved by the Organizing Committee.

Applications and organizational issues

7.1. The application for participation must be submitted to the Organizing Committee within the established timeframe in the form approved by the organizers.

7.2. Submitting an application means that the participant or team leader agrees with this Regulation, the Congress program, the decisions of the Organizing Committee, and the rules for staying at the event venues.

7.3. The delegation leader is responsible for the accuracy of the information provided, the organization of the team’s participation, and the participants’ compliance with discipline, safety rules, and conduct standards.

7.4. The organizing committee has the right to make changes to the program, schedule, composition of creative events, and the procedure for their implementation if this is necessary for the high‑quality organization of the Congress.

7.5. Information about the procedure for submitting applications, accommodation conditions, transfers, meals, excursion and cultural programs is published separately.

Organizational fee

8.1. The organizational fee for participation in the Congress is 25 (twenty‑five) euros per participant.

Certificates

9.1. All participants of the First International Vocal and Choral Congress DIALOGUE OF VOICES receive personal electronic participant certificates.

9.2. Certificates are sent to the e-mail address specified in the application, or provided for download in a manner determined by the Organizing Committee.

9.3. Individual certificates, letters of appreciation or other documents provided by the Organizing Committee may be issued to bandleaders, conductors, choirmasters, teachers and event hosts.

Final provisions

10.1. All issues not covered by this Regulation are resolved by the Congress Organizing Committee in a routine manner.
10.2. The Organizing Committee reserves the right to use photo-, audio-, and video materials created during the Congress for informational, archival, and promotional purposes, in compliance with the law and copyright.

10.3. By submitting an application, participants of the Congress confirm their consent to photo and video recording during the Congress events, as well as to the use of the created materials in the organizers’ information resources.
